The purpose of the youth bureau is to promote, establish, and maintain a unified system of youth development, recreation and delinquency prevention programs throughout Yates County. This is accomplished through networking with others who serve youth, assessing the needs of youth through comprehensive planning, coordinating youth services, allocating Office of Children and Family Services funds for youth programs, and evaluating those programs’ effectiveness.
