This program provides services to families living in Schoharie, Otsego, Herkimer or Oneida counties who have adopted or have guardianship of a child. SOHO is funded through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services.

Services include:

• A staff of three care managers will meet in the home – it is not necessary to come to an office. The care managers will work with the family to identify any needs and link to resources in the community.
• Support groups are hosted two times a month; there is an active Facebook Group just for SOHO families.
• Family fun days are planned at least four times a year at no cost to the families.
• These services are grant funded so there is no charge to the families. This allows program staff to able to be in the home even though there may be other service providers working with the family.

Serves Schoharie, Otsego, Herkimer, Oneida Counties.
