This program provides services to families living in Schoharie, Otsego, Herkimer or Oneida counties who have adopted or have guardianship of a child. Funded through the NYS Office of Children and Family Services, SOHO will work with your family to find the resources you need.

Services include:

• A staff of three care managers will meet with you in your home – you do not have to come to an office. They will work with your family to identify any needs and link you to resources in the community.
• Support groups are hosted two times a month; there is an active Facebook Group just for SOHO families.
• Family fun days are planned at least four times a year at no cost to the families.
• These services are grant funded so there is no charge to the families. This allows program staff to able to be in the home even though there may be other service providers working with the family.
