The vision of the Seneca County department of mental health is to become one of the most innovative providers of high quality, coordinated behavioral health treatment, prevention and early intervention services in the State of New York. These services will be provided in collaboration with other Seneca County community partners in order to ensure maximum effectiveness. All services provided to the residents of Seneca County will be delivered in a cost-effective manner, without regard to race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, national origin, age, ability, appearance or economic status. Service provision is governed by the standards of the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual and by the canon of ethical conduct of the various professional disciplines.
