The Chautauqua County Youth Bureau is a division of the Chautauqua County Department of Mental Hygiene and Social Services.  The Youth Bureau plays a vital role in supporting the healthy development and well-being of children and youth throughout Chautauqua County.  Working in partnership with the New York State Office if Children and Family Services (OCFS) the Youth Bureau plans, funds, and oversees youth development and Runaway and Homeless Youth programs that address local needs. Responsibilities include coordinating community resources, administering state aid to local agencies and municipalities, and ensuring programs are accessible and responsive to the diverse needs of young people, resulting in safe, supportive opportunities that promote positive outcomes for youth.
