Catholic Charities of the Finger Lakes realizes that adoption and guardianship families have unique needs. Whether the adoption is private, international, through the Foster Care System or other circumstances, our Targeted Regional Permanency Center Program is available to work directly with these families to address a variety of parenting, behavioral, emotional, or other family circumstances that create challenges to family stability. Services are available to families in Ontario, Seneca, Yates, Wayne and Orleans County who have formally adopted or obtained a guardianship order for a minor child.  Services are provided to all post-adoption and guardianship households, regardless of income.

Support services include:

• Monthly support groups
• Educational Workshops
• One-to-one support and guidance
• Individualized support.
• Linkages to services for treatment of trauma
• Assistance locating local resources unique to your needs.
