Eligibility
- Provides emotional support, information, and guidance to kinship caregivers of children aged 0-18 years. Support groups are also open to kinship caregivers of adults with mental health conditions and other disabilities.

Description: Information, guidance and support for family and other informal caregivers, typically through in-person meetings, over the phone or using online communications.
Additional Information: Kinship Family Support Services provides resources and support for kinship caregivers – those who are raising a relative’s or friend’s child(ren).
The goals are to increase kinship caregivers’
- Legal capacity – foster care, custody options, or adoption
- Financial stability – county cash and food support, medical assistance, other benefits
- Community connections – child care, mental health supports, educational services
- Emotional support – support groups, and community support options
