The organization promotes intergenerational thinking and the civic engagement of older adults. It assists other organizations to create and expand intergenerational community-building activities through the provision of consulting and grant writing services. Workshops and conferences are periodically sponsored. Staff support is provided to the Suffolk County Commission on Creative Retirement. Funded by local foundations and fees-for-services. Organization works with many public/private organizations service and advocacy organizations.

Grandparents Raising Grandchildren is a support group for people who find themselves caring for young family members. Along with support for one another, the group will invite knowledgeable speakers to address parenting concerns about relevant issues such as bridging the gap, custodial rights, health insurance and financial compensation.
