Parenting, Life Skills, and Family Development - Provides education, support and resources to help build strong, self-reliant families, and to help children reach their full potentials. Provides training programs to support relative caregivers raising children for the second time around. Parents As Teachers home visiting program for parents with children birth to five years old. Certified Parent Educators provide home visits and parents receive information on topics such as, healthy child growth and development, promoting literacy and language development, helping children prepare for school, and meeting personal goals.
4-H Camp Wabasso - Addresses the developmental needs of young people by providing opportunities for soical, personal, and educational growth within the context of the natural environment.
4-H Youth Development - Provides organized groups with geographic or subject matter boundaries at the community, neighborhood or school level for youth ages 5 to 19.
Ag and Natural Resources - Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County is farmers’ and agribusinesses’ link to the latest agricultural developments and innovative technologies at Cornell University and other research institutions.
Fort Drum - Extension’s Fort Drum programs assist and educate military families and federal employees at Fort Drum.
Nutrition and Health - Provides education through programs that help families gain nutrition, fitness, and consumer awareness.
